The Puyallup School District takes every precaution to ensure the safety of all students in the event of inclement weather or an emergency. By working together and preparing in advance, families can confront the situation the next time disaster strikes.

The district will keep the community informed through various avenues such as the Public Schools Emergency Communications System via TV stations and radio, SchoolMessenger Communicate emails and phone calls (robo-call), as well as social media. Since the district’s first method of notification is through social media parents and the community are encouraged to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Knowledge, preparedness, and communication are everyone’s best protection in the event of a natural disaster or crisis.
