Kindergarten Academy (KA) is a transitional kindergarten program designed to assist young learners who would benefit from additional support to be successful in kindergarten.This free program runs from October through June every year and is available to families who meet our program requirements:

- Reside in the Puyallup School District boundary

- Whose birthdate falls between Sept. 1, 2018, and Aug. 31, 2019

- Have NOT had a formal preschool or other pre-kindergarten experience

- Would benefit from additional support to be successful in kindergarten the following school year

Families who are interested in enrolling their child(ren) should complete the online interest form by Friday, Sept. 1, 2023, and email the required documents below to [email protected]:
- Birth certificate 
- Physician-verified immunizations 
- Residency verification

Upon receipt of all 3 required documents, you will be emailed a link to self-schedule your student for their assessment.
