Athletic Participation Fees

Students who participate in junior high or high school athletics will be required to pay an athletic fee. This fee must be paid in full prior to participation in the first contest. Athletes will be required to pay the fee for each season in which they participate.

Athletic fees for 2021-22:           

Junior High (grades 7-8) = $40.00 per season

High School ( grades 9-12) = $75.00 per season

The athletic fee will be waived for students who qualify for a free lunch program or are part of the College Bound Scholar program. Students and/or parents are responsible for providing the parent consent form allowing their status to be shared for athletic purposes. Documentation of their free or reduced lunch status can be confirmed by contacting Puyallup School District’s Food & Nutrition office (253-841-8773) and requesting a copy of their eligibility letter that was mailed to the family.

Parental Consent Needed for Additional Fee Waivers:  Families of children in grades 9-12 who qualify for free and reduced-priced meals, are required to submit a Consent to Share survey to receive additional fee waivers.  New this school year, parental consent is needed to receive additional fee reductions on items such as ASB cards, athletic participation fees, device coverage, and more.
