On Saturday April 9, our Puyallup students will be participating in the 83rd Annual Daffodil Grand Floral Parade.   All ten of our secondary schools and close to 2000 of our Puyallup School District students will participate in the Puyallup leg of the parade that begins at 12:45 in downtown Puyallup.  Bands, cheer squads, dance teams, ROTC marching units, school daffodil princesses, as well as recognized outstanding educators will all be in the parade representing their own individual schools as well as our district and community.

We are excited to see at this time what looks to be a favorable weather forecast for our high schools to be able to fully show off their 2 year old band uniforms.   Year one with these new uniforms in 2015 was unfortunately a blustery rainy day.   On Saturday our three comprehensive high schools - Puyallup High Schools, Emerald Ridge High School, and Rogers High School, will represent Puyallup in all four legs of the parade beginning in Tacoma at 10:00 a.m., Puyallup at 12:45 p.m., Sumner at 2:30 p.m. and Orting at 5:00 p.m.

This is a very long but exciting day for all of our students involved!   Hope to see many in our community come out to support our students in this year’s parade.
