Pay Information

In general, you may estimate a pay adjustment by using the following two tools:

Your work calendar
2) Your current leave balances

You may use all available leave accrual during a Maternity Leave and/or Parental Leave. The District will automatically use all available paid leave accrual during an approved Parental Leave. If approved for Leave Share you may request to reserve 40 hours of your own sick leave, for future medical appointments and/or parental reason after a return to work. Please note: Your request to reserve 40 hours of sick leave must be received by Human Resources at the time of your request. This option and/or changes to your option may not be available after baby's birth.

As soon as baby is born, the Human Resources Leave and Accommodations Coordinator will begin processing your leave. Your estimation of baby's arrival and your return to work will then be "actual information" that can be used to initiate that process. Unfortunately, there won't be much information regarding your pay until we have confirmed dates. We encourage employees to use the tools listed above to anticipate a pay adjustment. Once baby is born and the leave process has begun, all pay adjustment details will be sent to you via email by your regional Generalist team. If you have any questions regarding this information after receiving, please contact the Human Resources Leave and Accommodations Coordinator for further assistance.
