Medical Terminology focuses on the language of the medical fields. Students will study the fundamentals of medical terminology with emphasis on basic rules, vocabulary, abbreviations, diseases, and the body systems. Students interested in medical, dental, or veterinary careers, including medical office or sales, would benefit from this course. Some of the subjects covered include:

Anatomy and Physiology expands upon concepts learned in biology electives with emphasis on human biology. Students will study the structure and function of the skeletal, muscular, cardiac, respiratory, digestive, nervous, reproductive, and other body systems. This course is recommended for students interested in medical, dental, veterinary, or physical education careers.
