Inclement Weather Schedule
In partnership with the Puyallup School District, Right At School has elected to match the district late opening, closure,
or early dismissal decisions in order to mitigate any confusion for families
and ensure the safety of educators while accommodating your family’s needs.
• If the District is Closed: RAS programs will be closed as well.
• If the District is 1 hour late: RAS will open 1 hour late. We will then open at 7:30 am.
(Normal hours are 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
• If the District is 2 hours late: RAS will open 2 hours late. We will open at 8:30 am (normal
hours are 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
• If the District closes early or cancels afternoon activities: RAS will stay open until 4:00 pm to
accommodate families for pick up.
• If an individual school is closed: RAS will also be closed at that location only and no alternative care
will be provided.
Right At School understands that anytime the program adjusts hours, families are impacted. The goal is
to act in the best interest of the children, families, and educators. Each site cell phone will be updated
with the most current information about closures, late starts, or early dismissals should the time arise.
