The July board meeting is historically a short business meeting containing the consent agenda.  There are no district highlights or public comment on the agenda.

Regular board meetings will be livestreamed via Microsoft Teams.  Attendees do not need an account to join a meeting via computer; however, the Microsoft Teams app will need to be installed when joining on a smart phone or tablet. This will allow for a full meeting user-experience.

Public Comment Process and Guidelines

The Board recognizes the value of public comments and the importance of involving members of the public in its meetings.  A maximum of 20 speakers per meeting is enforced to ensure an efficient and organized operation of the meeting.  Each speaker is allowed 3 minutes.  We encourage attendees with similar concerns to represent members of a group.

In-Person Public Comment Process*

•  10 spots available.  Must be present to sign-up.  Remaining remote sign-ups will be added to in-person sign-ups.

•  Beginning at 5:30 p.m., comment cards will be available for sign-up at the sign-in table entrance.

•  Submit comment cards to the board assistant or any staff member.

•  Approach the lectern when called upon during the public comment portion of the agenda.

•  Commentators will be recorded and shown on the livestream.

*Attendees give consent to being recorded by participating.

        writing to the board.
     • Comments may be directed toward programs and school operations but may not concern complaints about
school personnel. Personnel complaints must be pursued according to the district’s complaint process (Policy
        4220).

     • A single individual will be asked to represent members or a group with similar concerns. However,
anyone may speak if they have something pertinent to add.
     • The board president shall terminate lengthy, inappropriate, or abusive discussion.
