Students
who want to participate and/or compete in sports or selected
extracurricular activities (see table below) in fall of each new school
year must pass a minimum of five classes and maintain at least a 2.0
grade point average during the previous spring semester.

Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) sports and
activities affected by these eligibility standards are shown in the
following lists:
High School Sports:
Baseball (B), Basketball, Bowling (G), Cross Country, Football, Golf, Gymnastics (G), Soccer, Fastpitch Softball (G), Swim and Dive, Tennis, Track and Field, Volleyball (G), Water Polo, Wrestling
High School Activities:
Cheer, Dance and Drill, Forensics/Debate, Band, Choir, and Orchestra
Junior High School Sports:
Basketball, Cross Country (G), Football, Soccer (G), Track and Field, Volleyball (G), Wrestling
Club
sports, such as lacrosse, are not sanctioned by the school district,
South Puget Sound League, or the WIAA, and are not required to meet the
academic eligibility standards for athletics.
