Benefits
Employees working at least 3.3 hours per day for a minimum of 190 days, are eligible for the following benefits:

Retirement
Classified employees working at least 3.5 hours per day and certificated employees working a .5 FTE or above per day for a minimum of 180 days, are eligible for retirement benefits.
In addition to mandated state retirement, the district also offers an optional deferred compensation program as well as tax shelter annuities.
*Substitute employees may have the option to purchase service credit at the end of the year.
Paid Leave
Paid leave entitlements can be found in the corresponding Collective Bargaining Agreement or in School Board Policy in the 5000: Personnel section.
Hourly and substitute employees shall accrue at least one hour of paid sick leave for every forty hours worked as an employee—RCW 49.46.210 (a).
