Finalists announced

The Puyallup School Board has narrowed its search for a new superintendent to three finalists.

The board has invited the following candidates back to the district for full-day visits, to include meetings with students, employees, and the community:

Tuesday, January 28 – Dr. Joshua Almy, Deputy Superintendent, Issaquah School District

Wednesday, January 29  – Dr. John Polm, Superintendent, Port Townsend School District

Thursday, January 30 – Dr. Jennifer Bethman, Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education, Bethel School District

Candidates will participate individually in evening community forums scheduled from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on January 28, 29, and 30 at Ballou Junior High, 9916 136th St. E., Puyallup, where they will take questions from the public.  Audience feedback forms will be available.

The board will then meet in Executive Session with each candidate for their final interview. 

The Board of Directors expects to announce their selection Friday, January 31 at 9:00 a.m.
