Take a moment to look at the many accomplishments of the Puyallup School District winter teams! Rick Wells, director of instructional leadership- athletics, health and fitness, presented the winter athletic accomplishments to the Puyallup School Board at the March 20 board meeting at 6 p.m. at Edgemont Junior High.

 

Girls Teams:

Emerald Ridge High School:

Girls Basketball:

  • South Puget Sound League 4A Sixth place (5-11)
  • First Team All-League: Jill Harris
  • Second Team All-League: Savannah Fickle

    Girls Bowling:

  • South Puget Sound League 4A seventh place (2-10)
  • State Participant: Gwen Craigen

    Gymnastics:

  • South Puget Sound League 4A Champions (8-0)
  • West Central District Meet second place
  • WIAA State Tournament fourth place
  • State Participants: Kelly Richardson and Bailey Miller
  • Tacoma Athletic Commission Athlete of the Year: Bailey Miller

    Girls Wrestling:

  • South Puget Sound League 4A tied for sixth place (2-5)
