School Construction and Facility Improvements bond update

School Construction and Facility Improvements Bond update

 Firgrove Elementary

Firgrove Elementary replacement

Scheduled for completion September 2019.

Replace Firgrove Elementary with a 32 home room elementary on the existing site. The new building will be located to the west, away from Meridian and behind Ballou Junior High.







New southwest elementary




New southwest area elementary

Scheduled for completion September 2019.

Construct a new elementary school with 44 home rooms. The new school will be located at 7911 144th St. E. It will be two stories.







Northwood Elementary


 
Northwood Elementary replacement

Scheduled for completion September 2019.

Replace Northwood Elementary with a 30 home room elementary on the existing site. The new building will be located to the east, allowing the existing building to remain in operation during construction.

 







Pope Elementary
Pope Elementary remodel

Scheduled for completion September 2020.

Remodel and expand Pope Elementary to 32 home rooms. The building expan­sion improvements are being determined through the planning and design process.

 







Sunrise Elementary
 
Sunrise Elementary replacement

Scheduled for completion September 2019.

Replace Sunrise Elementary with a three story, 30 home room elementary on the existing site. The new building location will be determined during the planning and design process.







Hunt 12 classroom addition 

Hunt Elementary 12 classroom addition

Scheduled for completion May 2018.

The Hunt addition consists of 12 class­rooms as well as six project rooms. It will connect to the existing building.
