The Puyallup School District Board of Directors is seeking five student representatives to serve alongside the school board beginning in September. The Board of Directors recognizes the value of student representation on the school board so that student voices and input are included in board work. Juniors and seniors in good standing attending Emerald Ridge, Puyallup, Rogers, Walker High School, and Puyallup Online Academy are encouraged to apply.

The estimated time commitment required for student board members is one year. Students are required to attend all board meetings, rotating on an in-person and virtual schedule.  

Completed applications must be received by the district’s Instructional Leadership Committee by June 2. Students selected will be contacted shortly after and recognized at the June 20 school board meeting.
